The web server component of TIBCO Software Inc's Spotfire Statistics Services contains multiple vulnerabilities that may allow the remote execution of code. Without needing to authenticate, an attacker may be able to remotely execute code with the permissions of the system account used to run the web server component. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc. TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services versions up to and including 7.11.0.
It is possible to exploit a Time of Check & Time of Use (TOCTOU) vulnerability by winning a race condition when Kaseya Virtual System Administrator agent 9.3.0.11 and earlier tries to execute its binaries from working and/or temporary folders. Successful exploitation results in the execution of arbitrary programs with "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" privileges.
While investigating UBSAN errors in https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/5365 it was discovered Apache Arrow versions 0.12.0 to 0.14.1, left memory Array data uninitialized when reading RLE null data from parquet. This affected the C++, Python, Ruby and R implementations. The uninitialized memory could potentially be shared if are transmitted over the wire (for instance with Flight) or persisted in the streaming IPC and file formats.
Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 76 and Firefox ESR 68.8. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.9.0, Firefox < 77, and Firefox ESR < 68.9.
