In WAVM through 2018-07-26, a crafted file sent to the WebAssembly Virtual Machine may cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact because of an IR::FunctionValidationContext::catch_all heap-based buffer over-read.
An exploitable vulnerability exists in the YAML parsing functionality in the read_yaml_file method in io_utils.py in django_make_app 0.1.3. A YAML parser can execute arbitrary Python commands resulting in command execution. An attacker can insert Python into loaded YAML to trigger this vulnerability.
The use of `String.to_atom/1` in PowAssent is susceptible to denial of service attacks. In `PowAssent.Phoenix.AuthorizationController` a value is fetched from the user provided params, and `String.to_atom/1` is used to convert the binary value to an atom so it can be used to fetch the provider configuration value. This is unsafe as it is user provided data, and can be used to fill up the whole atom table of ~1M which will cause the app to crash.
An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices with P(9.0) and Q(10.0) (released in China and India) software. The S Secure application does not enforce the intended password requirement for a locked application. The Samsung IDs are SVE-2020-16746, SVE-2020-16764 (August 2020).
