The mintToken function of a smart contract implementation for RedTicket, an Ethereum token, has an integer overflow that allows the owner of the contract to set the balance of an arbitrary user to any value.
The vulnerability lies in the web server component of Dup Scout Enterprise 9.9.14, Disk Savvy Enterprise 9.9.14, Sync Breeze Enterprise 9.9.16, and Disk Pulse Enterprise 9.9.16 where an attacker can craft a malicious GET request and exploit the web server component. Successful exploitation of the software will allow an attacker to gain complete access to the system with NT AUTHORITY / SYSTEM level privileges. The vulnerability lies due to improper handling and sanitization of the incoming request.

This allows a local attacker with access to the v4l-conf setuid-root program to test for the existence of arbitrary files and to trigger an open on arbitrary files with mode O_RDWR. To achieve this, relative path components need to be added to the device path, as demonstrated by a v4l-conf…
